What we look at
When you bring a work, a compressed copy of the image is sent to our critique service so the looking can be written. Images are not kept as a private archive. They are used only to produce that reading.
What stays on your device
Your history of looks, a used-count for the free allowance, and (if you choose) an email for membership sit in this browser. Clearing the site data removes them.
Email is asked only if you want a visit kept for membership. By giving an email you confirm you are 18 or over. Three looks are free, then membership.
Payments
Lifetime membership is one payment of £9.99, taken by Stripe. We receive your email, payment status, and a Stripe reference. We do not see or keep card numbers. The receipt is sent by Stripe to the email you give.
Gallery
Share is optional. If you share, an anonymous thumbnail and a short excerpt go to the public gallery. No name is attached.
Young people
Young people may use Art Mentor to look at their own work, with a parent or teacher’s knowledge. We do not ask anyone under 18 for an email. Membership is for adults.
